Sufi Spiritual Healing is a way of resolving deep energetic wounds, or traumas, that are often incurred during early childhood, though they can also have a family lineage aspect that can go back for many generations. While Counseling, Bodywork, Acupuncture and other modalities can be deeply helpful in addressing hidden layers of wounding, they may not penetrate into these more subtle realms. These deep wounds, left untended, often create illness on any or a multitude of layers (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual). In bringing the Light of Source to these dark and hidden places, the opportunity for profound healing exists. Sufi Spiritual Healing is a modality for transformation.

The focus of Chinese Medicine, classically, is to focus on resolving the discord within the Heart, since the Heart governs the entirety of the human being. The Heart represents the Empress/Emperor, who only has time and space to connect to Divine Source (the One Infinite Creator) and who does not allow anything to get in the way of that connection; without the connection to God there is no true or proper rulership of the human being. 

Sufi Spiritual Healing also focuses on the Heart. The Heart is the portal to access Divine Source. Through polishing the facets of the Jewel (the Jewel as a metaphor for all of the Divine Qualities carried in the Heart), the light and love of our inner being are given permission to shine forth, giving us greater vitality and peace. There is a Hadith about this Jewel and the desire of the One to know us through the Jewel He entrusted us with carrying, saying, “I was a Hidden Treasure and I loved to be known, so I created the creatures and made Myself known to them, so they knew Me.” When we are at peace in our hearts, we are capable of being loving and merciful toward ourselves. When we are at peace, we can also hold the door open for others to find that peace within themselves.

A typical treatment can be done in person, either sitting in a chair, or laying on a massage table. Healing can also take place over the phone or via zoom. May we discover and polish our Heart to see the beauty of the Jewel that has been hidden there!
